Our experience designing and manufacturing custom membrane switches goes back 20 years.
We always work with our customer to try and achive a design that fits there final product needs. Some time our customer will design the graphix, some times we work with the customer to help impliment there own graphics.
Schematic design of Membrane switch
A flexible printed circuit is made from thin, flexible materials such as polyester or polyimide, which are coated with a layer of copper. The copper is then etched to create the desired circuit pattern.
They can serve as printed cable harnesses when flexible or less bulky electrical connections are required between rigid PCB’s. We can use them to achieve very tight packaging of electronics within small enclosures by assembling them flat and then folding them to fit the smaller enclosure.
A flex PCB offers a multitude of possibilities for product designs combining the best qualities of connectors, printed circuit boards, wires and cable, all in one interconnect.

A flex rigid PCB is composed of a combination of rigid and flexible circuit boards that are permanently connected to one another. The potential advantages of a flex rigid PCB are:
Cost-effective – can lead to a reduced material weight and need for parts.
Reduced weight – removes the need for connectors and cables between individual rigid flex boards reducing board size and weight.
Simplified installation – multiple printed circuit boards already printed as one unit
